Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. So it’s been a few months since Windows Plus were here but I wanted to see if having 2 new doors and a couple of windows would actually make any difference to the river of condensation I’ve been coping with the previous two winters in my bungalow! Oh My goodness, Yes it certainly did!! This is the first winter I’ve been condensation free and it’s been absolutely fantastic, even feeling a bit warmer! David and Wayne were so professional and great craftsmen. The finishes were great and they dealt with any little niggles along the way with ease, even fixing my door bell (which by the way is still working great guys lol)! I couldn’t be happier with the price and service provided! I would definitely recommend Windows Plus! Many Thanks!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have used Windows Plus a few times and have had nothing but excellent service every time. Adrian prices competitively with no pressure sales. The service Lee provided when fitting the door was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble and when left you would never know he had been. Great job thanks guys.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. 5 stars I had been told I needed to replace my window by multiple companies and quoted over £1k for replacement. Spoke to Windows Plus and they sent out an engineer and repaired the window within a week. Super happy with the service and the finish - thank you so much!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A Glowing review from a warm happy customer. Windows Plus fitted a new door and front windows in my flat for a reasonable price. They have already fitted a new back door and windows. Excellent service from them and I'm very happy.

Frequently Asked Questions

What styles of uPVC door do you offer?

We fit a full range of uPVC door styles to suit different needs and homes. Residential entrance doors are the most popular choice, available in a wide range of panel and glazing options. Sliding patio doors offer a smooth way to connect indoor and outdoor living areas. French doors open outward in two panels and work well for rear access onto a garden or patio.

Stable doors are split horizontally, allowing the top half to open independently for ventilation while the bottom stays closed. All styles come in a wide choice of colours and finishes, and we will help you choose the right option during your free survey.

Are uPVC doors secure?

Yes. All of our uPVC doors are fitted with multi-point locking systems as standard, which engage at multiple points along the frame when the door is closed, making them significantly more resistant to forced entry than a single-point lock.

The hardware is built to handle years of daily use without loosening or wearing, and we only supply and fit products we are confident standing behind. We will talk through the security features included in your chosen door during your free survey.

How much maintenance do uPVC doors need?

Very little, which is one of the reasons uPVC is such a popular choice. The material never needs painting or staining, does not rot or warp, and holds its colour for years. A periodic wipe down with warm, soapy water is usually all that’s needed to keep the frame and panels looking their best. Hinges and locking hardware benefit from a light oiling once or twice a year to keep everything running smoothly.

Do I need planning permission to replace my front door?

In most cases, replacing a door falls under permitted development rights, which means no planning permission is required. Exceptions include listed buildings, properties in conservation areas, or where the work forms part of a larger structural change. If you are in any doubt, we recommend checking with your local planning authority before going ahead, and we are happy to point you in the right direction during your free survey.

What guarantee do you offer?

Every uPVC door we fit comes with a guarantee covering both the product and our workmanship, with full details confirmed in writing before installation begins. The doors carry a 10-year guarantee against cracking, warping and discolouration, and the locking hardware is covered too. As a FENSA certified installer, we also register every installation with FENSA, giving you independent consumer protection and confirmation that the work meets current building regulations.
